One of the deepest anchors of my faith is that God knows more than me. The presence of a boundless, omniscient God, free of restrictions gives me the courage to worship him without bounds and restrictions. I think about my favorite verse Nahum 1:7 I learned in children's church when I was 8. "“GOD is good, a hiding place in tough times. He recognizes and welcomes anyone looking for help, No matter how desperate the trouble." Nahum 1:7 (MSG)

This helps me to trust him and worship him more because he's saying "Hey, I love you, and I know everything you go through and I know that you love me and I am here for you at all times with whatever you need." The hardest thing to do is go through a tough time alone. I've been through some pretty dark times with my family and personally but knowing that the God of the universe sees all, makes everything just a little lighter on my shoulders. And the awesome part is that the verse doesn't say "I know who is living perfectly and those are the ones I'll help." which is something I've personally dealt with- feeling like God won't help cause I'm in a dry season or a backslidden position. that's not God. His perfect love trumps our imperfect nature every single time. God loves you and he'll never watch you drown.

Prayer: God, I love you. I thank you that you are with me at all times and that though people might fail me and I might fail myself you're always there and you'll never let me drown. Thank you for your power and for you unfailing love. In Jesus' matchless name, Amen.
